A Wednesday evening

Yesterday afternoon I kept asking myself what I wanted to do later that night. 

Obviously there are so many options of what to do.

And sometimes that just overwhelms me!

So I thought about it....

And thought some more. 

Finally, after Dan made plans to play pick up soccer for an hour or so, 

I decided I was going to use one of my coupons I had laying around and 

....shop around at Ulta :)

I found the BEST deal and I just have to brag, because, well, 

this deal about made my night. My coupon was "Get $3.50 off when you spend $10 or more".

I knew exactly what I wanted to use the coupon for and was on a mission. 

I was able to buy 5 new bottles of nail polish (and the good stuff!)

for $6!!

I was so happy driving home. Windows down. Music playing. 

Thinking...."Ahh, what color do I want to use first?!?"

It is crazy what a $6 dollar purchase of nail polish and some alone time playing nail salon can do to one's mood. 

In case you are curious, my toes are dark purple. My hands are peach. 

Later, we decided to try to make some puppy chow (the dessert). It sounded like a very easy and simple recipe. It didn't just sound like it was, it IS a really simple snack to make. Simply cover chex with chocolate and pb and the add tons of powdered sugar. 

Well, I burnt the chocolate. 

So it was a no go. 

I am stopping to get more chocolate chips tonight. So that we can try again.
